Yes, I'm passionate about making money. Everyone should be. How can you live a full life without being able to experience everything you want? And the biggest reason for most people for living half lives is because they don't have the money to take that ski trip to Aspen for a week or drive a fancy car or have a holiday at the coast without worrying about if they can afford it.

Let's have a look at an average working class person's life.

You start work round about 22 (if you studied, 18-19 if you didn't). Then, once a year you get 3 weeks vacation. But, during that vacation, you need to watch your money carefully, 'cause the next payday is more than a month away.

Now, let's add this up. An average person retires at 65... that's 43 years of service to the rat race. That's 129 weeks vacation... about 2 1/2 years worth of vacation in 43 years of service which you couldn't really enjoy BECAUSE YOU WERE WORRYING ABOUT MONEY!

Where's the fun in that?

I've been developing websites for 10 years now. Initially, it was for corporate intranets in the Business Intelligence arena. But, as a hobby, I started building small sites all over the place.

My first real money making site was an general article directory, which was a hobby, and started making money (about $100 a month) 4 months after I put it up.

Well, most people don't want to wait that long, so I'm going to tell you, tough. That's the way it works. Unless you've got 8 hours a day to focus on building a money making website, it's not going to happen overnight.

So, Make Money Online South Africa (MMO-COZA for short) is a site that will share my knowledge and experience to you, the budding webmaster. I'll be updating this site daily with new content (most my own, but also other things I come across that I find useful).
